This Privacy Policy explains how ERNE DESENVOLVIMENTO DE SOFTWARE NÃO CUSTOMIZÁVEL LTDA (trade name ERNE TECNOLOGIA; “we”, “us”, “our”), the developer of the NãoEntendi mobile application (the “App”) and operator of this website, handles information. We built NãoEntendi to collect as little data as possible.

Your progress and settings — experience points (XP), streaks, the name you optionally enter in the App, which gírias you have learned, your quiz history, and your chosen language — are stored locally on your device (in the app’s local storage). This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and we cannot access it. You can delete it at any time via “Reset progress” in the App or by uninstalling it.
If you submit the App’s feedback / suggestion form, we receive the text you wrote and — only if you choose to enter it — your email address, so we can reply. The submission is delivered through our form processor Web3Forms (operated from the United States) to our support inbox. We keep the message only as long as needed to handle it, then delete it. If no connection is available, the App opens your own email app instead (mailto), and everything runs through your email provider.
If you purchase NãoEntendi Pro, the transaction is processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play using the account already signed in on your device. We never receive or store your payment details (card number, billing address, etc.).
To manage subscriptions and the “Restore Purchases” feature across devices, we use RevenueCat, Inc. as a service provider. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated, pseudonymous app user identifier and the purchase receipt from the store in order to tell the App whether your subscription is active. This does not include your name or email. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
If you join the launch waitlist on this website, you give us your email address. We use it for exactly one purpose: to send you a single announcement email when the App launches (and, on the confirmation page, to give you the free “100 Gírias Cariocas” PDF). We do not add you to a newsletter, and we do not share or sell the address. The submission is delivered through Web3Forms (operated from the United States) to our support inbox. You can have your address deleted at any time by writing to [email protected]; after the launch email is sent, we delete the collected addresses.
This website is served by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages). Like every web host, Cloudflare may technically log requests (including IP address, time, and browser type) for delivery and security purposes. We run no analytics on this website: no cookies, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting.
If you dismiss the language-suggestion banner, we remember that choice in your browser’s local storage so we don’t show it again. This value never leaves your browser and contains no personal data.
The fonts on this website are hosted on our own server. Your browser makes no request to Google Fonts or any other third-party font service.
Under Brazil’s LGPD these correspond to the relevant legal hypotheses (consent, execution of a contract, and the data subject’s request); under the EU GDPR, to Art. 6(1)(a), (b) and (f).
We do not sell your data. We share data only with the service providers strictly needed to run the App and this website: Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Web3Forms, and Cloudflare (as described above), each acting under their own terms and privacy policies.
Our service providers (e.g., RevenueCat, Web3Forms, Cloudflare) may process data outside Brazil, including in the United States. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses).
On-device data remains until you delete it or uninstall the App. Waitlist emails are kept until the launch announcement is sent, then deleted. Feedback and support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request. Purchase records held by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat are retained according to their policies and applicable tax/accounting law.
Depending on where you live (LGPD in Brazil, GDPR in the EU/EEA, and similar laws elsewhere), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Because we hold almost no personal data about you, most of your data is already under your control on your own device. To exercise any right, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Brazil, the ANPD).
NãoEntendi is not directed at children. It teaches informal, colloquial language and is intended for a general teen-and-adult audience. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the App or on this page.
